Somatic Arts Exploration. Learn to decrease anxiety with sensory expression.

Raise your hand if you’ve spent the last week "processing" your feelings but your brain feels like a browser with 47 tabs open—and half of them are frozen.

For those of us who are neurodivergent, queer, or just existing in a world that demands we be "on" 24/7, our nervous systems are usually screaming for a break that a bubble bath just can’t fix.

That’s why we’re bringing in Jace, a Counselling Therapist from Calgary who actually gets the neuroqueer experience. We’re hosting a Somatic Arts Exploration—a two-hour virtual space where the goal isn't to make "Good Art," but to signal safety to our nervous system and get some relief!

Jace says:

"This two-hour virtual workshop offers a neurodivergent and queer-affirming space to move beyond 'talking it out' and into the language of the body, using visual art exploration. This workshop will focus on 'bottom-up' healing; using tactile movement to signal safety to the nervous system, and to physically lower stress.

By prioritizing sensory expression over verbal processing, you will learn how to use art materials to identify and soothe emotions using rhythmic, repetitive movements and play. This workshop is about the process of creating rather than developing artistic skill, providing simple, sustainable tools that you can use for emotional regulation and expression in daily life!"

You don’t need to be an "artist" to show up. This isn't about skill. Everyone is welcome.

We’re creating a space that is neuro-affirming, queer-led, and 100% focused on lowering the collective blood pressure of our community.

Just rhythmic movement, some art supplies, and a chance to feel a little more human?

We can’t wait to get to know you better!

We’re doing this thing. Do you want to come?

YES!

It’s March 14, 2026 1-3 PM MST.

Suggested Price $35, sliding scale pricing available.
