Rooted in Indigenous teachings and guided by trauma-informed practices, this program prioritizes free and accessible offerings for Indigenous youth while also providing paid workshop options for organizations, schools, and broader communities.

These sessions use hands-on artistic practice as a pathway for cultural reclamation, mental wellness, and identity reflection.

Workshops are best for: Youth aged 14-35, intergenerational learners, educators, support staff, Indigenous organizations, and those seeking inclusive cultural learning grounded in respect, reciprocity, and creativity.

Beading for Belonging

An accessible workshop for all ages and skill levels, with supports like task breakdowns, visual examples, and alternative tools to support learners with different access needs.

Ribbon Skirt & Pants Making

A regalia-based session that explores personal and cultural expression.

This workshop include teachings on history, adaptation, and responsibility, and are offered on a sliding scale with materials provided.

Moccasin Making Workshop

A hands-on cultural arts session connecting participants to traditional teachings, patience, and care through creation.

Participants learn the process of making their own pair of moccasins while exploring the cultural significance and teachings carried within this practice.

This workshop emphasizes moccasin making as both skill and ceremony, a reflection on reciprocity, working with hide, and relationship to land.

Shannen’s Dream Painting Workshop

A creative workshop inspired by Shannen Koostachin and the fight for equitable Indigenous education.

Participants learn about Shannen’s Dream, explore advocacy through art, and create their own painting reflecting hope, youth leadership, and education as a right.

This workshop invites dialogue on youth empowerment, community responsibility, and access to culturally safe education.

Prairie Stories Art Session

Reflecting on land, memory, and intergenerational connection through art.

Indigenous Dot Art Workshop

A creative workshop exploring how dot art appears across different Indigenous cultures, each holding their own meanings, teachings, and relationships to the practice.

Participants learn about the cultural diversity of dot art, how to respectfully engage with designs that aren’t their own, and create a guided artwork that reflects personal interpretation and responsible creativity.
